Welcome to KL Nutrition & Fitness!

Hi! I’m Kristen – owner and founder. I’ve been a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer for 13 years. Here’s what I know through many years of experience:

Your quality of life is highly dependent on your eating and movement habits. Everyone says they want to live longer – I want you to live BETTER. I want your daily activities to feel effortless and EASY for as long as possible. I want you to live independently as long as possible. None of that will happen if you don’t prioritize nutrition and movement.

In a world full of crazy diets and exercise trends, I want to bring clarity to what is important and what will actually make a difference for you. No restrictive diets. No expensive supplements needed. I want to simplify the process and give you the support you need to feel your best.

If you’re ready to focus on your long term health and build a strong, functional body that feels good day in and day out, you’re in the right place.

What is the difference between a nutritionist and a registered dietitian?

Nutritionist is an unregulated term in the United States. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist with no credential requirements. Registered dietitians (RDN) are required to complete a bachelors and master’s degree, complete a 1200 hour hands on dietetic internship and pass a national registration exam. They are also required to complete continuing education every 5 years to stay up to date with the latest nutrition science.
